makemaru doesn't work!No.00831

Hi,

I got version 2.22 of hidemaru and the maruo patcher, but makemaru.bat doesn
't seem to work correctly. Whenever I tried to run makemaru.bat, I got the s
ame error message like "hidetag.exe incorrect!" Looks like you put wrong pat
ches in maruo222.lzh.

By the way, I use the English version of Windows95. I don't think that makes
 any difference, though...

えーと、日本語でレスを書いていいんでしょうか。
英語の意味もよくわかってないかもしれませんが、解凍ソフトによって、GMTとの時
差
を考慮していないとかなんとかで、ファイルの日付がずれてしまい、差分が当てられ
ないことがあるようです。

解凍ソフトを変更するか、一時的に時差を日本時間にすると解決するかもしれません。

Thanks for the quick response, but I don't think that the case because I use
d lha.exe. But in case you're right about this, I'll list up the files and t
heir times.

Please notify me if their times are really different from yours. I strongly
suspect that you put wrong files in either of archives, hm222.lzh or maruo22
2.lzh.

上記のファイル(つまり hm220.lzh の中身)のタイムスタンプが
　全てオリジナルの 9 時間前になっています。
　＃GMT と JST の差でしょう、多分(^^;。

よって、これらのタイムスタンプを修正(9時間進める)してから作業するか、
　元々のアーカイブから解凍し直すかして下さい。

It worked! It was more complicated than I expected, though.

Somehow, just changing the clock of my computer wasn't good enough because W
indows95 also has a setting of the time zone in which your computer is locat
ed, and that thing also has an effect to the time tags of the files. So, I t
ried fooling my computer by changing both the time zone and the clock as if
it were located in Japan. That worked. At first it didn't seem to work, thou
gh... some stupid cache things, I guess.
